Natasha Zupanov - Director and Principal Solicitor
Natasha has over 20 years experience in personal injury litigation and is an expert at managing and pursuing personal injury compensation claims with a view to achieving maximum financial outcomes in workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accident, public liability and criminal injury compensation claims.
In 2011 she established Peninsula Personal Injury Lawyers, a boutique, specialist personal injury law firm in Mandurah, Western Australia.
Justin Cvitan - Director and Solicitor
Justin holds a bachelor of laws and science and was admitted in 1998. He has diverse experience having worked in the areas of personal injuries, commercial litigation and native title and mining law and is a welcome hand as the business goes from strength to strength.
Durga Arasu - Solicitor
Durga is our newest team member, and is one of our solicitors. She is based in our North Perth office, and works mainly alongside Justin. She has just returned to Australia from six and a half cold years working in London, and having explored different practice areas of law. Durga works mainly with our Workers’ Compensation clients and loves the fast paced environment of personal injury law. Her greatest satisfaction is helping her clients achieve a positive outcome after a normally testing time in their lives. After so many years in the snow, Durga loves the outdoor life of Australia and spends her weekends with her son, husband and family enjoying the sunshine. She also enjoys baking for her boys!
Vanessa Van Nus - Legal Assistant
Vanessa has been part of the team since April 2017, and works closely with Natasha, the barristers and the clients during the progress of their claims. Vanessa also coordinates settlement conferences and keeps clients updated. Vanessa enjoys the variety of her role and the fast paced work environment. During her down time she spends a lot of time on or around the basketball court with her children and catching up with friends.
Tracey Loubser - Practice Manager
Tracey previously worked in the background for PPIL as a consultant crunching the numbers for Natasha since July 2013, and as a consequence of continual growth within the business, she recently joined the team internally as the Practice manager in February 2019. Tracey believe she has the best job in the team, as she is responsible for releasing settlement funds to Peninsula Personal Injury Lawyers’ clients, which is typically a huge relief after a normally trying time for clients. Tracey’s weekends are normally spent between her son’s baseball, daughters dance and athletics and enjoying quality time with family and friends.
Kerrin Lilley - Legal Assistant
Kerrin is our go to person for criminal compensation injury claims. Her compassion and empathy allow her to work successfully with clients to help them to achieve closure while dealing with sensitive matters. She has completed her Cert III in Legal Secretary studies and is currently studying her Bachelor of Law Degree, working towards becoming a solicitor herself. She juggles this between work and her three beautiful children. Over the weekends she enjoys spending time with her family camping and 4 Wheel driving with friends and family.
Judith Lilley - Administration Assistant
Jude is one of the friendly voices you hear when phoning the office. She started with Peninsula Personal Injury Lawyers in January 2018 to help out as a casual for a short one week stint. Her hard work and friendly demeanour soon became apparent to Natasha and Justin, and they realised she would be a valuable asset to the team. Jude enjoys reassuring clients of the progress of their claim and juggling Natasha and Justin’s busy diaries. She spends her weekend out in the bush with her boys mountain biking and relaxing with a book.
Kelly Collins - Administration Assistant
Kelly joined the team in June 2018. Her story is quite unusual in that she was injured whilst working on the mines and required a work place to perform her Return to Work Program whilst on workers’ compensation. As a result of this, Kelly understands the claims process from our clients’ point of view. At the end of her claim, Natasha and Justin offered a role in the team, as she was a good fit for this business. Over the weekend she and her partner enjoy riding their Harley Davidsons around our beautiful state, and on many occasions do this as part of charity fund raising events.
Alissa Stephenson - Administration Assistant
Alissa works mainly in our North Perth office alongside Justin and Durga. She is our IT guru who works mainly to improve and automate our systems and processes and therefore reducing wasted time and inefficiencies. She works closely with our software and hardware providers to find the best possible solution for our business. During her down time, Alissa sticks to her passion for technology and enjoys PC gaming and a good book.
Bella Haigh - Junior Administration Assistant
Bella started in July 2018. Her role in the business is to ensure that after new clients have seen Natasha or Justin, that all involved parties are informed regarding the claim. Bella loves making up these files and contacting the relevant parties, as she feels she is part of the first step in helping our clients gain closure regarding an often painful time in their lives. Bella spends her down time playing Women’s AFL for the Mandurah Mustangs. When she isn’t out on the football field she spends time at her local gym or with her family.
