Although we are in challenging times, Natasha and Justin can assure you that all the staff at PPIL are still working very hard to achieve the best results for all of our clients. We are still taking client calls and enquiries and are doing our utmost to attend to your questions as quickly as we can.
At this point in time, we only have skeleton staff in the office, with many of our staff members working remotely from home as a precaution. As you can imagine our phones are much busier than normal and we would like to provide some guidelines to avoid any frustration.

 

PREFERRED METHOD OF CONTACT : EMAIL

 

  • If you can, at this stage our first preferred method of communication is email.
  • Please email admin@ppil.com.au or the person you have been in contact with regarding your query.
  • The staff in the office will do our best to resolve your query once received via email, and if they need further clarification will call directly.
  • If you need to speak to one of our solicitors, we will still continue to book Telephone consults.

 

UNANSWERED PHONE CALLS TO THE OFFICE :

  • If for any reason you do phone the office and unfortunately your call is not answered, PLEASE be patient, try again later or leave a voice mail message.

 

RETURNING CALLS FROM OUTSIDE THE OFFICE :

  • When our staff are returning your calls, please be reminded that many of our staff members are now using their personal mobile phones from home and will therefore deactivate “Show my caller ID” on their phones.
  • If you are expecting a call from us, please be prepared this may come from a BLOCKED NUMBER, so please answer it to avoid further back and forth delays and frustration.

 

OUTSIDE SERVICES – COURT | DOCTORS | OTHER SOLICITORS | INSURERS

  • Although outside services may have slowed down slightly, it is still business as usual for all our outside contacts. We are still progressing and  resolving claims as per usual practice!
  • Guidelines :At this stage all WorkCover and District Court matters are being conducted by telephone or video link. If this applies to you we will be in direct contact with you.

 

Most medico-legal consultants will be continuing to review our clients, however appointments will likely be conducted via Skype or Zoom. You will be individually notified as this occurs.

NEW CLIENTS

  • We are still taking enquiries from prospective new clients.
  • If for some reason you do not manage to get through to our office –
  • please email us at admin@ppil.com.au  with the SUBJECT : NEW CLAIM {your name} and include your full name, contact number and brief outline of your circumstances.
  • You can also contact us via our contact page on our website.
  • We WILL RETURN your call by the end of that day’s close of business.
